The great thing about having such a huge, wonderful line like NUXE is that I can have been working here for 3 years and still find something brand new that I adore. I most recently just picked up the Thermo-Active Mask from the Aroma-Perfection range and I fell in love with it. How this mask managed to slip by me unannounced for the past 3 years, I will never know! Regardless, Thermo-Active and I are finally united…
Apply to a clean face, and true to it’s name, it gently heats up your skin as it hardens into a mask. It’s objective is to unclog pores and gently exfoliate and after rinsing off with cool water, your face is left positively glowing. In short: I LOVE.

Our NUXE facials event went off without a hitch! As always, our events, while fun, have a huge sense of community. Four of our favorite customers traveled all the way from Boston and South Jersey to join us — We love you guys!

The French spa line, Nuxe, much beloved by the Thompson Chemists crew, has come out with a spectacular gift-set for this year’s holiday season. The set includes our favorite product, the Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream as well as Nuxe’s best-seller: the Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil in a 100ml spray bottle. The set also includes two minis: the Huile Prodigieuse OR Golden Shimmer Oil (10ml) and the Eau Demaquillante Micellaire 3 Roses Cleansing Water (35ml). The four items are very nicely displayed in a white gift box stamped all-over with the brand name in every color of the rainbow, giving it a light-hearted and festive look.
And, I wasn’t kidding when I said that the Reve de Miel Hand and Nail Cream is our favorite product here in the store. It’s actually so popular with the staff that everytime I place an order with the company I ask for two testers because one won’t get us through! The reasons we like it so much are simple: it gives us the hydration we need (as you might imagine we wash our hands a LOT in the pharmacy…) and soaks in almost immediatly, leaving us free to go about our tasks without having to worry about leaving greasy fingerprints everywhere. Also, like all the products in the Reve de Miel or Honey Dream range, it smells divine.
The Huile Prodigieuse is no worse for the wear. Indeed, it is the product most people know from Nuxe. It is an all purpose dry oil, suitable for face, body and hair. It is indispensible in winter both because it relives dry skin, but also because to me its smell reminds me of summer and beaches, a thought that helps me through those miserably rainly winter days.
